The biggest mistake I made in twelve years as an entrepreneur
For years, I believed a business’s success depended on my ability to carry everything. The more problems there were, the more I worked. As responsibilities increased, I tried to control every detail.
That approach helped me get through major crises, particularly during Covid-19, when we had to completely reinvent our business model to survive. But looking back, I realised it also came at a significant cost: constant exhaustion, relentless pressure and difficulty helping the teams around me grow.
In this video, I share a personal reflection on leadership, the loneliness of business ownership and one of the most important lessons from my journey.
For a long time, I thought a good business owner had to be able to do everything. Today, I believe a great leader is above all someone who can build an organisation that no longer depends entirely on them.
If this video resonates with you, you have probably felt the pressure of carrying everything on your shoulders. Please know that you are not alone.
